Creating a Japanese Zen/ Small Rock Garden Indoors..HELP? - bonsai theme party

I've recently moved and I am glad to know my room is big enough for the first time. I opted for the low profile of modern furniture and I am looking for a topic, rain, zen, and so far so good. But the long wall always looks empty, and I would use the space, create a zen in W / bonsai, plants, candles and a rock garden, perhaps. Ideas?
